Half-Day Trips

Attendees will have the option of choosing between three half-day trip options during the registration process. Transportation will be provided by the conference organizers:

  1. Santuario de Chimayo. Located on the high road to Taos, this beautiful and relaxing drive towards Northern New Mexico takes you to one of the most history rich areas in the state. Read more here: http://www.elsantuariodechimayo.us/
  2. Bandelier National Monument. Bandelier National Monument protects over 33,000 acres of rugged but beautiful canyon and mesa country as well as evidence of a human presence here going back over 11,000 years.  Petroglyphs, dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs, and standing masonry walls pay tribute to the early days of a culture that still survives in the surrounding communities. https://www.nps.gov/band/index.htm

  3. Tent Rocks National Monument. *FULL* NO LONGER AN OPTION*
